Heritage Open Days Weekend

17th – 18th September 2022

Heritage Open Days is England’s largest festival of history and culture. The theme this year is “Astounding Inventions” and Caudwell’s Mill is excited to be taking part with our own special open weekend called “Flour Power!”.

Throughout the weekend enjoy FREE guided tours of our unique, historic flour mill and witness how a revolutionary invention in the Victorian period resulted in our flour being ground using state-of-the-art machinery, instead of the traditional waterwheel and millstones. You will also be able to witness our ground-breaking Victorian roller-milling machinery in action grinding flour.
